Thrilled to be awarded The Ngaio Marsh Award for Best Crime Novel 2017 at a very special event in Christchurch hosted by WORD Christchurch and Scorpio Books. I’m still walking on air, and feeling very honoured to receive such recognition for ‘The Last Time We Spoke.’ Congratulations to Michael Bennett, whose book ‘In Dark Places’ won the Non-Fiction Award, and Finn Bell, whose book ‘Dead Lemons’ won Best First Novel.
